Empirical Bioscience is an FDA registered and ISO13485:2016 certified manufacturer of Molecular Biology Reagents.

The QuantiTASE Kit from Empirical Bioscience is an RT-qPCR universal kit that contains the reagents and master mixes necessary for accurate detection of DNA or RNA. The reagents have been optimized for qPCR or RT-qPCR applications for use with both intercalating dye and probe-based detection methods.

QuantiTASE PLUS Universal RT-qPCR Kit

The QuantiTASE PLUS Kit from Empirical Bioscience is an RTqPCR Universal Kit that contains the reagents and MasterMixes necessary for accurately and efficiently synthesizing and amplifying cDNA from RNA samples. The reagents have been optimized for qPCR or RT-qPCR applications for use with both intercalating dye and probe-based detection methods. The QuantiTASE PLUS Kit is a high-performance version of the Empirical Bioscience QuantiTASE RT-qPCR Universal Kit. The Kit contains Empirical RTScript™ (M-MLV) Reverse Transcriptase Enzyme Mix and 4X InhibiTaq Plus HotStart qPCR MasterMix and 100mM DTT solution.

QuantiTASE Two-Step Reagent Kit

QuantiTASE Two-Step Reagent RT-qPCR Kits contain all the supplemental components necessary to perform first strand cDNA synthesis with high sensitivity and efficiency from any RNA sample using two-step RT-qPCR protocols.

This kit is designed to be used in conjunction with Empirical’s RTScriptTM Transcriptase Enzymes or QuantiSCRIPT RT-qPCR Kits.

4X InhibiTAQ PLUS HotStart qPCR MasterMix

Empirical’s InhibiTAQ PLUS MasterMix is a 4X concentrated qPCR MasterMix containing Empirical’s proprietary HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase and Buffer System which has been developed specifically to permit robust qPCR performance in the presence of substances found in a wide range of samples that normally inhibit PCR amplification of DNA.

2X qPCR Probe MasterMix

Empirical’s qPCR Probe MasterMix is a 2x ready-to-use MasterMix for quantitative real-time evaluation of DNA using fluorescent probe-based detection. Empirical’s qPCR Probe MasterMix contains FlashTaq HotStart DNA Polymerase; a chemically modified Taq DNA polymerase that remains completely inactive at room temperature. The enzyme becomes activated after only 2 minutes at 95°C. Empirical’s qPCR Probe MasterMix includes dNTPs, MgCl2, and optimized buffer for fast, efficient qPCR. Empirical’s qPCR Probe MasterMix has been optimized for use with hydrolysis based probes such as TaqMan, but is also suitable with other probe-based detection systems.

FlashTaq 2X MasterMix

Empirical’s FlashTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase is a chemically modified hot-start polymerase designed for reducing non-specific DNA amplification due to primer-dimer formation.

FlashTaq™ HotStart has one of the fastest activation times on the market at only two minutes at 95°C, resulting in faster cycling and fewer program changes. Chemical modification keeps FlashTaq™ HotStart free of any contaminating DNA from modifying agents (such as antibodies).

Empirical’s FlashTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase offers fast activation: FlashTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase amplifies a 750bp fragment with only a two-minute initial denaturation. A leading competitor will amplify only after 10-minute activation and is less robust than FlashTaq™ HotStart.

rEVAlution 2x qPCR MasterMix

Empirical’s rEVAlution is a ready to use hot-start qPCR MasterMix with EvaGreen® dye, FlashTaq HotStart DNA polymerase, 400µM dCTP, 400µM dGTP, 400µM dATP, 400µM dTTP, and 5mM MgCl2. EvaGreen® is a dsDNA-binding dye. It is cell membrane impermeable, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, and safe for aquatic life. EvaGreen® possesses similar absorption and emission spectra as SYBR® Green I. This product has been optimized to allow prolonged use and storage at Ambient Temperature (15° to 25°C) and in standard Refrigeration (4°C)

RTScript™ cDNA Synthesis Kit

Empirical’s RTScript™ cDNA Synthesis Kit is a modified version of M-MLV reverse transcriptase with RNase H activity deactivated and increased thermal stability. In combination with optimized buffers and reagents, Empirical’s RT enzyme synthesizes complementary DNA from single-stranded RNA or DNA templates.

Empirical’s RTScript™ is sensitive, specific and capable of synthesizing highly-structured and long cDNA fragments. Produced cDNA is appropriate for both PCR and qPCR analysis.

RTScript™ cDNA Transcriptase Enzyme

Empirical’s RTScript™ cDNA Transcriptase is a modified version of M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase with RNase H activity deactivated and increased thermal stability. In combination with optimized buffers and reagents, Empirical’s RT enzyme synthesizes complementary DNA from single-stranded RNA or DNA templates.

WarmStart RTScript™ Reverse Transcriptase

Empirical’s WarmStart RTScript™ Reverse Transcriptase is a modified version of M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase with RNase H activity deactivated and increased thermal stability. In combination with optimized buffers and reagents, Empirical’s RT enzyme synthesizes complementary DNA from single-stranded RNA or DNA templates.
