6X MeanGreen Loading Dye
Description
Empirical’s 6X MeanGreen Loading Dye contains loading dyes (blue ~4kb and yellow <25bp) that make the monitoring process during electrophoresis easy, and a density agent that allows reactions to be loaded directly onto agarose and polyacrylamide gels. These dyes do not obscure visualization of reactions, as the bands run outside most products.
The 6X MeanGreen Loading Dye is supplied in a solution with 30% (v/v) Glycerol, 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.9) and 50mM EDTA.
Usage:
Add 2ul of 6X MeanGreen Loading Dye to a 10ul sample, 5ul to a 25ul sample and 10ul to a 50ul sample. Mix well before loading onto the gel.
Storage and Handling:
Store at –20ºC upon arrival.
