Performance
Empirical’s AbTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase is an antibody modified hot-start Taq polymerase designed for to reducing non-specific DNA amplification during reaction set up.
AbTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase contains Empirical’s High Yield Taq DNA Polymerase with a recombinant Taq Antibody and is supplied with proprietary buffer solutions to assure optimum performance in standard and Multiplex PCR reactions
AbTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase has activation time of 2 minutes at 95°C, resulting in faster cycling and fewer program changes. The recombinant Taq Antibody keeps AbTaq™ HotStart DNA Polymerase free of any contaminating bacterial DNA.
AbTaq™ is available glycerol free as a formulation, ideally suited for use in the preparation of lyophilized mastermixes.
AbTaq™ DNA Polymerase, IVD Grade, is manufactured under ISO13485 Quality System and is suitable for use as a raw material in IVD applications.
